Course he has, well out of his depth.
A mental appointment for a team that should be challenging on all fronts.

The Yank finds out that throwing the wedge doesn’t get the job done. Can’t blame Potter for having a go. But the place is a cesspool.

I wonder if the person who made the decision to recruit Potter will come under fire for a decision that has worked out so badly?
Nah, of course they won't.

So that's Rogers and Potter gone today, but we're still stuck with the hopeless jock. Despite todays win I'd still fire him

Not sure I can explain this, call it gut feel, but Chelsea was never the right club for Potter but West Ham is. We should bring him in tomorrow.
Harsh on moyes, no it isn't. That was far from a convincing win today and no easy games left. Moyes has had more than enough time to get our team fit and playing well, he has failed miserably. The pathetic bloke with the russian hat has said the right manager to replace moyes is not available well he is now, get on and do it!

Would you be so cheery if you paid to watch West Ham play, feet?
It's alright to point fingers when you hardly even watch us on the box, let alone go to a game, you weird cunt.

I suppose with a lot of uncertainty around the club this summer and Moyes still having a year left the ''get Potter'' cry, or anyone for that matter, is a bit clouded, but on the face of it he seems to be a very good fit for us and would very much like him here in the summer.

I'd be more interested t know exactly why he screwed up at Chelsea before offering him the job.

Not sure if we will ever know the reason (s) that Potter did poorly at Chelsea. We do that there are a plethora of very expensive players at Chelsea so possibly Potter struggled with the ego's. One thing is certain, he kept changing the team around, I'm not sure but I think he ever played the same starting eleven more than once.
Anyway, fuck 'em, it couldn't happen to a nicer club.

The ego thing is the automatic assumption. If it is that, and only that, and if he's unable to overcome it then he's destined for a life with lower teams. My guess is there's something more to it, but no idea what that would be.

He doesn't have the personality or big enough balls for a big demanding club. fairly obvious really. You either have it or you don't. Similar with Moyes at Man Utd.

It really is a big step up, he was meant to be facing Real Madrid next week. I reckon the Yank is a real tough nut to work for too.
I'd definitely take Potter here though.

Manuel, I would definitely have taken him when he joined Chelsea, and I said at the time that would've been a better move for him as he'd shown nothing to suggest he was ready for a top 4 job.
However, if you think about it, all he did with Brighton was establish them as mid table for 1 & a half seasons, and he's proved he hasn't got the minerals for a demanding job, so I'm not sure he'd be my first choice.
Still, it literally is anyone except Moyes now, ain't it.
